1) Remove the silicone top
2) Fill the basket with tea
3) Push the top back on
4) Add the tea steeper to water
Can I keep wet tea inside the Floating Tea Steeper?
Yes, we like to re-steep several times before using new tea. High quality tea can be steeped several times. Just like any wet herbs, mold can begin to grow at the 24 hour mark.
How do you clean Floating Tea Steepers?
Wash before first use.
They are top rack dishwasher safe.
Or soak them with 2:1 ratio of vinegar to water before rinsing with hot water.
As with all food grade silicone, please avoid harsh chemicals (i.e. bleach) and harsh detergent (i.e. Cascade).
