How does a Float2infuse tea infuser work?

How do I prevent tea leaves from escaping into my cup?

Our infusers feature an ultra fine mesh design, so that will prevent tea leaves from escaping into your cup. Just ensure the silicone top is securely pushed onto the tea strainer and then you are good to go! Our very fine mesh tea strainer will filter out even the smallest tea particles.

How much tea can I steep at one time?

Our fine mesh tea strainer steeps up to 3 teaspoons at one time (about 1 tablespoon), so you can brew strong tea!

The general rule of thumb is to use 1 teaspoon of loose leaf tea per 8 oz. cup of water. However, this can vary depending on the type of tea and your personal preference. Some teas, such as herbal blends/tisanes may require a bit more, while others, like green tea, may need slightly less.

Can Float2infuse brew hot or cold tea?

Can I reuse the same tea leaves?

✅ Yes, most types of tea, such as black tea and herbal tea, can be steeped multiple times. The flavor profile will change with each subsequent steeping, often becoming milder. It's essential to adjust the steeping time for each additional infusion to avoid over-brewing.

You can brew any type of loose leaf tea, including green tea, black tea, oolong tea, white tea, and herbal teas (also called tisanes). The key is to adjust the steeping time and water temperature based on the specific type of tea to achieve the best flavor.

How do I clean Float2infuse tea infusers?

Wash before first use! Rinse the infuser after each use with warm water to remove any remaining tea

Troubleshooting

Help! My Float2infuse tea infuser is floating sideways!

This happens sometimes but no need to worry! To fix this, tap the mug on the table a few times -- your tea infuser will float upright again!
